Conor McCreedy

Charles Bank Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of photography, painting, and film by South African artist Conor Mccreedy. Titled African Ocean Mccreedy has created a body of work that reveals and celebrates the traits of his South African heritage.

Heavily influenced by Expressionism and showing an overwhelming fondness for a specific type of blue pigment for his canvas paintings, Mccreedy feels that “the raw power and mysterious void of the Ocean” are the source of his artistic inspiration.  His photography reflects the joy he feels for his South African friends and neighbors, as well as the people he meets on his travels across Africa.
